I like the article but have to say that one statement I have not found too be true locally; "Real estate agents, too, seem much more willing to recommend pre-inspections to sellers".
I have had a total negative responce form realtors on pre inspections! They always talk about the sellers not wanting to spend money? I always talk about how I hate being the bad guy when the last minute buyers inspection turns up some item that kills the deal and they all look at me as if it was my fault!
Our company is a total believer in getting the skelatons out of the closet and putting them out on the negotiating table. I would love it if I walked into a home to look at buying it and an inspection was already done.
Pat.
